3-in-1 Jackets comes as 2 parts:-
- A fully waterproof/windproof Midweight Jacket. Usually with taped seams, making it completely waterproof.
- A secondary layer, usually either a fleece or Softshell Jacket
These can either be worn individually, or in colder conditions, the secondary layer can be zipped into the waterproof layer, turning it into a heavyweight waterproof jacket with fleece/softshell lining. Both layers can be decorated with company logo etc.
